I received my dental degree from Western University (UWO) after studying Chemistry at York University. After practicing as a general dentist for several years, I pursued my specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery. I received my Master’s in Periodontology at the University of Toronto. My Master’s research focused on diabetic healing of bone tissue.
I am a Canadian board-certified periodontist. My scope of practice includes treatment of periodontal diseases, soft tissue grafting and regeneration of periodontal tissues. I also perform a wide range of implant dentistry procedures such as dental implant placement, ridge preservation and bone grafting surgeries including ridge augmentation and sinus grafting. I am a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto in Undergraduate Dentistry. I am a Fellow at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. I am also a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the Alpha Omega Dentistry Organization and was a past president of the student chapter branch at Western University. As an advocate for improving patient education and access to dental care, I was on the Executive Committee for Oral Health, Total Health London, an organization devoted to promoting access to care for special needs patients. I was also an active participant in the Dental Outreach Community Service program in London.
I speak three languages and love travelling. I enjoy hiking, painting and yoga. I treat my patients with great care and respect. I want all my patients to leave their dental appointments with a beautiful, healthy smile and a happy heart.
